Marek:
I tried to get the flashboard manufacturing moving a few months ago, but I
hit a couple of brick walls. First, I could not find anyone selling the
connector that attaches the flashboard to the J72x's mainboard. Second, I
could not figure out a way to do a "first time" programming of the flash
memory (i.e. to at least put a bootloader in place).
Now, there was a fellow at HP that was going to send me his "stash" of
connectors (which would have been all that we needed), but, for whatever
reason, when I tried to arrange the actual transfer, he would not answer
me back.
Secondly, there is a JTAG interface on the J72x's motherboard somewhere,
but, again, when I asked HP for a motherboard layout, all I got was
silence.
So, until these points change, a flashboard for the Jornada 72x is
pretty much dead.
