Hi,

did you boot the new kernel? I am having problems with the 2.6 kernel with
linexec as well as hpcboot - linexec crashes, hocboot complains it can't jump
to kernel. Tried this with kernels from Alex's JFFS2 images as well as with a
custom-built one.
Maybe different boot/bootloader architecture in the new kernel? I'd like to
look into linexec but I have 4 exams coming up, so there's absolutely no time
(and I may lack the skills as well).

Regarding suspend/resume, what I would've liked to try would be to let the
kernel write all memory and video mem to CF-card, suspend the processor and
then let WinCE boot. Then run a patched linexec that would load that memory
image and jump to the kernel again - could work if WinCE is not messing too
much with registers/devices/... . But there's that skills and time problem
again :)

If the 2.6 kernel ran along with Opie on the Jornada I'd personally almost see
it as the perfect PDA :)

Bye,
Lorant
