Wow, that is indeed *really* great News :) Thanks Alex!

I have been trying to get Opie running on the J720 with 2.4 Kernel
lately - almost succeeded after a week, I hope. Just building. Sadly I
have no Hardware that can build OpenEmbedded.

There seems to be a Qt/E patch for 2.3.10 to support FB keyboard - that
would at least save the effort of rewriting internal Qt keymaps or
fiddle with zkbapplet.

I hope that your work will also run on J720s w/o flash rom :)
