I would love to see a modern, smaller, lighter Jornada 777
with a 4GB IBM-Hitachi uDrive build-in
I guess I have to buy both Qonos and a Communicator

oh, i dont use a toolchain, i have it really compiled directly on the
jornada, i use a microdrive (1gb) in the mecanical modified cfslot (so
that the cf2 card fits) with a "kind" of intimate on it and have linked
the needed stuff into my flashimage so i can use the powermanagment and
at the same time also use the jornada as a "very" small fullfeatured
minilaptop (uhhh ok 206mhz is not "really" fast) , to make this work you
only have to close all programmes that actually use the microdive prior
to suspend (swapd etc.)). (my workaround to the powermanagment problem
with intimate :-))

thank you for the hint, its working perfectly now!
very happy...
kye
btw. conrad electronik (in germany) makes the printed circuits boards
for the j720 for apx. ˆ 180 for 3 boards... so the only two things left
are a steady hand for smd soldering and to figure out how to get the
bootloader into the empty flashrom :-)
