Hi,
kernel development on the jornada56x is stalling right now, as I still did not
get any further information from HP. I can build a new familiar .8 release,
but we would have to use the old 2.6.8.1 kernel again which still has the
bugs described on the jornada56x status page on handhelds.org. I have tried
to get 2.6.10 running, but this completely fails to boot. I have no idea why
yet.
I still didn't loose the hope to receive more system info to resolve backlight
and power managemant issues, but currently it looks bad.
regards,
Alex
