I still did not find a way to try out this one, but at least
I hacked the "power suspend" code from the current Linux kernel
(drivers/video/epson1356fb.c) into linux-2.4.18-rmk2-hh2, but the
result is still the same: The screen becomes dark, but the light is
still on, and when I wake it up again, the screen looks somewhat
unhealthy and needs a long time to recover.
In other words: Still no possibility to save some battery power.
