[jornada] current status of jornada 820 port

Basically, I've gotten blob to work (loaded from hpcboot),
and understood why the kernel was constantly being corrupted:
some device is writing through DMA to 0xc005c080,
right in the middle of the place the zImage and/or kernel is usually loaded.
                        The horror!
Now you know why I am so pathetically far behind in porting the kernel.

I'll dig through the SA-1100 manual to find out which device to disable.
If you have a hint, tell me.
Alternatively, I'll load the kernel higher in memory.

After that, I hope things will be easier.

As usual, my current stuff (my own patches, documentation, good URLs) is at:
        ftp://Samaris.tunes.org/jornada820/linux/

I didn't prepare an updated kernel patch yet, since I still am struggling
with the bootloader, but will gladly code and documentation share with
anyone who'd help me port Linux to the damned (and damnedly sexy) beast.

Yours freely,

The fundamental class division in any society is not between rich and poor, or
between farmers and city dwellers, but between tax payers and tax consumers.
