[jornada] 101 Questions about Linux on Jornada 720

Hello all,

Im new to this project so I'm looking for some answers that I could not find
on the internet these being:

1. I would like to know that I have a backup of wince, just in case I have
to revert to it for some reason or another. However does Microsoft's Active
Sync copy all of the ROM information when it backs up? and if so will it be
able to restore through a third party Linux sync program? And if Active sync
doesn't back this up what is my best bet to go about doing it?

2. What Linux distro would be best for the jornada, I'm partial to debian
and am debating wither or not to go with their arm port or another arm port
distro. What distro suites the jornada 720 best?

3. will all of my devices on my jornada remain functional a.k.a compact
flash, pcmcia, touch screen, keyboard>

Well I think that I will leave it around there for now the major question
being # 1 just because my company did give me this thing and if I do have to
return it I would like to give them what they gave me.
