Hello Gavin,
The same situation is with my Jornada.
Did you try to boot kernel again? No luck?
Three weeks ago i tried to folloe instructions
on http://acid.ch.pw.edu.pl/~sq5bpf/mylinux/linux-jornada720/
and i got the "orange line". After disconnecting all battaries and
power I couldn't boot the kernel again, It was freezed on stage "console = 2".
Few days ago i boot the kernel
from http://www.phed.org/~meddington/jornada720.html. I saw on my
Jornada screen the penguin and a blinking cursor, but the Jornada was
dead (also there was some garbage characters on serial port). But
after flushing i could manage to boot the previous kernel with "orange
line".
Hey, Gurus! Will you help us?
Please.
