AFAIK, there are no flashroms available for the 820 that are
linux-friendly. Otheres on this list have discussed using cyace and
hpcboot to try to boot linux, entirely from ram but I've not seen any
discussions about doing this on the 820 although I imagine the procedure
would be about the same.
