There really is no such document.

Right now, flashroms with linux pre-installed are in short supply and
may be requested from jca@alum.mit.edu (how I obtained linux).

Some people have had luck using netbsd's hpcboot to boot a linux kernel
from within wince (see archived messages in this list). Either way,
linux kernel source for the jornada is available from the handhelds.org
cvs at http://cvs.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/linux/kernel.

Just use arch/arm/def-configs/jornada720 as a .config file.
