i'm trying to boot a linux kernel via hpcboot. once the kernel is booted
it displays "Error: a" on the serial port (which means wrong architecture
according to arch/arm/kernel/head-armv.S). i have used the config file
provided in arch/arm/def-configs/jornada720 (without netfilter, since it
didn't compile).
after commenting out the architecture check, the kernel makes the screen
go blank, no messages are output to the serial port, and the device is
dead (until the batteries are removed).
The kernel version is 2.4.18-rmk2-hh2, hpcboot is the latest version.
is there any way to make it work?
