[iPAQ] Slow loading of Blackdown Java j2re-1.3.1-RC1

I have been running Blackdown Java j2re-1.3.1-RC1 on Familiar 0.4. Loading
the JVM takes about 10 minutes! Has anyone else seen this? Is there any
way to speed this up? Since nobody else has written about this, I assume
I'm doing something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
