Really? On my iPAQ(s) it seems to work fine. What sequence of button
presses are you using?

Subject: The "new" iPAQ suspend button behaviour
Hi,
I have a few questions about the new suspend button behaviour.
First I find it good that a longer press toggles the backlight and a
short suspends/resumes.
But I discovered a problem when resuming. The first time the LCD comes
back and just disapeard immediately (suspend again). Only after the
second button press it works.
Any ideas?
I did not change any values in /proc/sys/ts/*
>3. On a suggestion from Sean Godsell, the power button now serves

>"/proc/sys/ts/suspend_button_delay" milliseconds, the backlight is
>toggled on and off. If it is held down for a longer time, it
>suspends/resumes the iPAQ. As before, if you "echo '1' >
>/proc/sys/ts/suspend_button_mode", you turn off the suspend functions
>and the power button acts just as a regular button.
