RE: [iPAQ] mixer

I have not installed v0.5 yet so I could easily be wrong but...
if I recall correctly, Familiar v0.5 was going to use devfs
hence programs accessing /dev/dsp won't find it there.

I think this is now /dev/sound/dsp. Just create
a symlink to /dev/dsp and that should fix it (provided
this is the problem ;)

Hope this helps,
Greg

Subject: [iPAQ] mixer

        Hey,

I just installed Familiar .5 on my iPAQ H3670. Everything is great,
except sound configuration and playing.

Everytime I try to use the "mixer", I get:

"Can't open mixer: No such file or directory".

The weird thing is that there is a "mixer" program (installed by the
mixer ipk). So I don't know what this error message is referring to.

I already tried to reinstall the mixer package, but I didn't solve
the
problem.

Does anybody knows what the problem is and how can I solve it?

        Thanks,

                Felipe.
