[iPAQ] Setting up networking on the iPAQ :(

#I had been trying to install networking on my iPAQ after installing linux
#on the same. However, after logging in as root, and typing
"ipkg install_pending", I get the message:

The following packages in //usr/lib/ipkg/pending are ready to be
installed:
//usr/lib/ipkg/pending/ssh_2.5.2p2-2_arm.ipk
Install them now [Y/n] ? Y
Unpacking ssh...Done.
Configuring ssh...Done.

(the same messages get repeated twice)

#I have also added the following lines to my /etc/resolv.conf file

domain cs.duke.edu
nameserver 152.3.140.1
nameserver 152.3.140.11

#However "ipkg update" gives the following message:

Any help would be appreciated. I have a Lucent 802.11 card, and I am in a
