Anyone know of a module that could run on the iPAQ to make the iPAQ look
like a USB storage device? Simple example with win* below, but same
applis to a Linux box with usb-storage.o module:
I take the IBM microdrive out of my digital camera with a bunch of
images in it. I place the microdrive in the CF sleeve on the iPAQ and
plug the iPAQ in to the usb cradle that is attached to my win* system
(no, I don't have one. this is an example ;-). Now I want to be able to
read the vfat filesystem off the microdrive on the iPAQ with the usb
storage drivers from win*.
Anyone tried this type of thing? This works:
plug the microdrive into a camera with usb and connect the camera to a
win32 box. A drive shows up in explorer and you can read/write the
images.
Plug the microdrive into a camera with usb and connect the camera to a
Linux box with USB started and usb-storage.o, the camera is now
available as a Mass Storage device and can be mounted.
I'd like to be able to do the same thing when I plug the iPAQ into the
PC.
