There's another little hack, "S", which I use to suspend the iPAQ. It checks
that if you were using stowd, and restarts it (using those other two scripts)
after coming back from suspend. You could put this in the menu - I don't know
how to trigger it from the "power" button, however.

I use xstroke (with ion). There is an iPAQ display-sized png image which has
all the strokes on it, it's a good reference. I don't remember exactly where
to get it, I'll mail you the ones I use. You can look at it with qiv.

I don't start stowd automatically on boot, but you could do it by putting a
link in /etc/rc2.d to an /etc/init.d script which wraps that "k" script I sent
before.

Sooner or later there will be a pretty way to do all this, my hacks are
definitely not the right way to do it! But they do work.

Good luck.
