[iPAQ] Why does my IPAQ turn off when charging in the cradle?

Hi all

Why does my IPAQ turn off when charging in the cradle?
I have set it to NOT turn off if idle when charging.
I have set it to turn off after 5 minutes unused on battery power.
I'm sure it's cos its finished charging and is running from battery power.
BUT I want it to stay on even if finished charging in the cradle.
Any ideas?
