Hello all,
Firstly, let me forward deepest sympathy to all those effected by
the terrorist attack on the United States of America. God be with you and
your families.
I am writing applications for the iPAQ using Nano-X and I require
getting a key event from the power button (and possibly the action button).
Nano-X listens to the /dev/h3600_key device. I have found that echoing 1
to /proc/sys/ts/suspend_button_mode will prevent the iPAQ from sleeping
when the power button is pressed/released (This is ok), the problem is that
there is no code send to the application through the /dev/h3600_key device.
(The Nano-X code uses a select to determine whether there is data to be read)
Does the power button scancode get sent through a device that either
my application or the Nano-X server can listen to, or is there another way?
From Peter Hartshorn
PS. I have also looked through the XFree86 source, but I have not found
any really usefull code.
