I have the US robotics 56K pcmcia modem working, along with
a 33K IBM modem. They appear as /dev/tts/0

Nope , requires hardware modifications or a 3.3 volt modem card , currently the
only supported ones are the Pretec and Kingston ones
Lisa supplies modified sleeves for use with Nokia"s cardphone and a proprietary
driver that frees the card upon insertion
This is only available upon special request and prices are on application
