Having just discovered Familiar I have been playing
with getting the iPAQ to talk to the world. Ethernet cards
and CF cards have all happily worked, however
PCMCIA modems seem to be a bit more recalcitrant.
Can any PCMCIA modem cards be made to work with Familiar v0.4?
I find serial drivers load OK, but cardctl reckons the cards
(a Targa and a Psion) are busy on insertion. In addition,
the stock "serial" command in /etc/pcmcia uses "setserial",
is there any equivalent in familiar?
I had previously tried a German distribution - Lisa mLinux 0.9
with similar results.
