Pretty much identically, yes. The only distinction is that, once you have it
up and running, you'll find you have a 32MB /mnt/ramfs rather than just a
16MB /mnt/ramfs, because the ramfs code automatically attaches half of RAM
(but will shrink if more application RAM is needed, I believe).
Unfortunately, you cannot install using USB -- you'll have to get a serial
cradle or cable, or else modify your USB cradle for serial (which voids the
warrantee). There are details on the Wiki at handhelds.org.
Once you're installed, you can use the usb-eth module on the iPAQ and the
usbnet module on your desktop to establish an ethernet-like network
connection between your iPAQ and your desktop.
