yeah, it does ... I'm working on a new light weight Palm OS look alike GUI to
go on top of Xlib ... (it's very small - less than 60k, and the apps i'm writing
(address, calendar, etc) are less than 20k)

checking the aspect ratio will work, but the keypad is a problem ...
and I was hoping the key events would be re-mapped - then I don't have to
worry about it ... I am re-mapping events internally anyway - so it's not
that big of a deal - but i'm at a point where I need to stub code, or solve the
problem ...
