[iPAQ] Xlib extention to query screen orientation

Has the extension to the Xlib to query the screen orientation been coded yet ?

I saw a message (RFC) awhile back proposing a standard ... was this
implemented ?

also, did (or does) the extension handle re-mapping the key events ?
(the "up", "down","right", and "left" keys would be different
for different orientations)

or will the programmer have to re-map the events ?
