I thought the itsy port used ggi? Or was that the netwinder port....?
Anyway, Jimmy at jimmysoftware.com did a quick and dirty port to the ipaq
under CE. Due to button problems, he never released it, but it "escaped".
The binary is here: http://www.mindspring.com/~gregorya/
He based his port on Bruce Lewis's Linux Doom code here:
http://www.abraxis.com/brucel/
The README in Bruce's code says, "Still, the code is quite portable, and it
should be straightforward to
bring it up on just about any platform.".
We will see. This will just take a bit of digging. Doom has been ported
to the ARM architecture (itsy, netwinder, Yopy, iPaq under CE, and here:
http://www.forwiss.tu-muenchen.de/~dehmel/DIY.html) before.
We get this, we can start on Quake!
