The joypad are mapped to the keyboard arrow keys.

The center button isn't (yet) implemented.

The power button isn't (yet) implemented.

The other buttons are mapped to be various keysyms (e.g. record).
They also turn on modifier bits in the event (so you can use them
to cause control, shift, etc, in xterm when using xscribble).

Try using xev to play around....
