I had an interesting chat recently with one of the guys in the product
group that makes the iPAQ. He's an audio expert and he said that they
put quite a bit of effort into the audio circuitry. Nothing can be
done about the inherent limitations of the tiny speaker, of course,
but if you connect audio-out to good headphones, your stereo, or etc,
the sound should be quite good.
