Yeah, I think python is probably a bit better bet than perl (python's
memory usage is much more bounded than that of perl :-) -- plus it has
beautiful GNOME/Gtk+ bindings. I think it would be great if application
development took place in Python -- the apps themselves would be quite
small, and a 'development environment' would take up a much smaller
flash footprint than a full-blown C one would.
