On the fat front:

We need to:

Replace bash with ash (requires rework of PCMCIA scripts)
Put Xlib on a diet (lower priority than server work)
Replace xterm with rxvt (according to Dirk Engling)

Dirk: do you have a pointer to an updated version of rxvt?
