a)...
b)There is no ftp or telnet server on the ipaq...Use 'rsh' and 'rcp' to reach the ipaq via ppp.
c)I'm not sure what you were doing..I'd have to see the config...But at first guess it sounds like both sides were trying to issue LCP requests...
You can get more detailed information by adding a line that says 'debug' to the hosts /etc/ppp/peers/ipaq file...
I have a gnome panel applet that monitor's the serial connection and automatically starts up ppp properly.....I think I posted it before. Is anyone else intersted in this? it had a few issues...nothin major, and it works for me.....
