Actually, it isn't so bad. You can use the Window Ops->Move item on
the twm menus to move the playlist dialog around. As long as you leave
enough of the root window visible that you can get back to the menus,
it works pretty well. You open the playlist window, choose your
directory at the top part, move the window so that the songs are
visible, and add them.
