[iPAQ] Ipaq WLAN Linux support

Hi, this is my first posting :)

I'm planning to buy a ipaq to use with linux and a have a little doubt:

At the office we have Wireless LAN instalation with 3Com Airconnect
productos based on IEEE 802.11b. There are PCCARDs for WLAN from 3com and
Compaq, i actually own a 3com Pccard.
But what about a linux drivers for linux ? 3Com has a driver for WinCE but
no for linux.
Is Compaq going to develop drivers for his WLAN CARD over linux ?

Externaly both WLAN cards look the same, could the same hardware ? .
