Hi,
After much deliberation I decided to try the 2.13.2 bootloader, and flashed
it onto the iPaq (previously used bootldr-2.10.5, used HyperTerm on Win2k to
xmodem). After that I go the same error message as John D. Rowell got with
the 2.12.0 bootloader on April 05. The boot output on the terminal after a
reset is:
DABT
0000084C
FFFFFFFF
Reset with action button produces the exact same output as decribed in John
D. Rowell's mail.
I am not absolutely certain though if I send 'bootldr-c000-2.13.2' or
'bootldr-0000-2.13.2'. What is the difference between those files, and if my
iPaq died due the wrong file, shouldn't they have names that distinguish
them from each other in a better way?
I'll have to say bye bye to my dear iPaq, and send it to Cambridge. Sniff.
Stefan
