[iPAQ] how awkward is it to add flash to an ipaq ?

 I don't have one, though I'm thinking of buying one.

 My biggest concern is that 16MB flash isn't enough...and I'm not sure I
could justify the expensive of an extra microdrive. How awkward is it to
upgrade the flash on them, without extra bits sticking out of the CF
slot ?
