dLux: Thank you for putting your perl framework on the ipaq. I am fiddling
with it now.

I have seen the same ppp problem as you. I am using familiar v0.3 installed
from jffs2 images according to instructions on wiki at deepsleepnow.

I had to fiddle with the ppp options for a while to get it to work and it still
is a bit unstable.
