[iPAQ] Java 2 For iPAQ - Does Anyone Know When It Will Be Available?

Hi,

I notice from the archives that Java2 has been ported to the iPAQ/Linux
and shown at various exhibitions. It is not clear who did this (Juergen
from Blackdown?), or if it is ever intended to be available, although
there was mention of it being posted somewhere in February.

I understand that the SUN licence requirements mean that no public posting
of the binaries is possible until the JCK tests have been passed, but all
I can see is coy half-references to any work that is being carried out.

I would like to use my iPAQ running Linux/Java2 for development in
preference to running CE/PJava, so my questions are simply, does anyone
know if Java2 for the iPAQ is actually in the process of being ported for
public consumption, and if so, does anyone know when it will be available?
