using the latest jffs2 on an ipaq with 32MB flash, i get the following
errors on boot:

TCP: Hash tables configured (established 2048 bind 2048)
Fast Floating Point Emulator V0.0 (c) Peter Teichmann.
devfs: v0.102 (20000622) Richard Gooch (rgooch@atnf.csiro.au)
devfs: boot_options: 0x2
JFFS2: Erase block at 0x00b80000 is not formatted. It will be erased

JFFS2: Erase block at 0x01ec0000 is not formatted. It will be erased
VFS: Mounted root (jffs2 filesystem).
Freeing init memory: 60K

i remembered to erase the flash. perhaps the command i used ('eflash
0xc80000 0x1380000') is not sufficient to erase the whole thing?

------------

also, i think this is unrealted, but after flashing the jffs2 image,
it took numerous resets and power cycles to get the ipaq to boot
again. sometimes reboots cause it to crash again. typically after
loading the pcmcia slot stuff, e.g.

....
Starting PCMCIA services: modulesLinux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.22
  options: [pm]
SA-1100 PCMCIA (CS release 3.1.22)
<crash here>

but sometimes right in the bootloader after loading the kernel image
but before printing dots.

any ideas why this happens?
