[iPAQ] Threading fairness on the iPaq

Hello,

I'm converting an application of mine over for x86 Linux to the StrongARM
iPaq Linux and I am noticing strange thread behavior using the pthreads
library.

The x86 seems to be fairly fair, giving a child thread ample time to read
from a socket it is blocking on (or a message queue) but on the iPaq, this
is not the case. So, because of this starvation, an application which
normally takes .25 seconds on a x86 takes 1 hour on the iPaq.

Anyone else run into the same type of problems?
