I looked at CyaCE (which boots Casio Casiopeias from WinCE into Linux nicely)
for a while and got some helpful advice that the CyaCE source code needs some
modification and recompilation on ARM before it will work for iPAQs correctly.
I have what the proposed source code modifications should be, but have not
gotten a chance to try them. I downloaded Embedded Visual Tools from Microsoft
from http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/developer/default.asp, but have not gotten
the chance to use it yet to recompile CyaCE with the changes, since my Windows
machine does not have enough disk space, and I have not had time from regular
duties to clear it out.
Ted, if you want to pursue this, I would recommend to switch over to
investigate netbsd or pdsboot instead of CyaCE. There seems to be more
interest in using either of those instead of CyaCE now.
