In fact it *would* enable other QT code to run under X11 (or
Microwindows). It probably won't be the full API (since we only
implemented those API calls that
were needed to get the kHTML widget running with FLTK), but the basis is
there, and it wouldn't be too difficult to continue adding calls as they
are needed.

Unfortunately no. The source code is available for all, but since older
versions of Nano-X didn't work very well with SDL, we "rolled our own"
implementation of the
graphics system to work specifically with Nano-X. I am sure that a X11
savvy person could grab the code and port it in a very small amount of
time, and I am surprised that nobody has done that yet. (BTW: The
latest version of Microwindows is *MUCH* better with SDL, so expect more
SDL compatible apps in the future).

I have been informed that BBrox has a X11 (and SDL) based version of
Doom running (without sound, just like ours). I haven't actually seen
it, so thats just rumor, not fact.
