Man, you go on vacation for three days, and your favorite thread passes
you by... :)
Anyway, I am sorry that you had problems with ViewML. We have been
using it for a while now with few problems, and so I am surprised to
find that you
have had issues. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want to discuss
them.
Just a quick update, in case anyone has any concerns. As someone
mentioned, ViewML is based on the old kHTML widget. We really want to
upgrade to the Konqueror ASAP. No bones about it, we feel that the
Konqueror is the best parser going as far as size and performance. Our
intent with the ViewML project is not to have a HTML or HTTP handler,
but to provide a QT to FLTK glue layer and a UI so we can use the parser
on Microwindows and X11, not just on QT. Now that ViewML is stable and
ready to go, we are interested in moving forward to the next stage,
which will give us a better parser with more features and less size.
If anyone is interested in helping us move toward this, please stop by
www.viewml.com and check things out.
PS: Kudos to the Nanozilla folks. It looks really good. If you folks
have any code that works with Microwindows .89pre6b and above, would you
let me know???
