I don't understand how this has something to do with IMAP. You could probably
synchronize with an Exchange server via IMAP, but not with a standalone desktop
Outlook. Is any usable PIM app for Linux/iPAQ, yet? If so, I would only need to
know the protocol (maybe best something built around XML) for data interchange.
I would then volonteer to write the Windows part.
The Windows part wouldn't be too difficult, I already have a simple Python
script that reads my Outlook address book and puts the entries on my Linux LDAP
server, so I have access to my addresses even when I boot my workstation in
Linux. No synchronisation, currently though. If anybody is interested, the
Python script is on my homepage. Look under "Vitamin P".
