hi,

i just got my ipaq prepared running linux :) and it works.

my feeling about the wavelan is not too good. the performance seems
to be poor.
on both sides i use orinoco cards, firmware 6.16, Ad-hoc (PtP) mode

ipacq is running v 0.19

i played with the gqmpeg (how do you manage the playlist editor?)
player.
mounted my mp3 archiv via nfs (on the ipaq, i got the message:
nfs warning: mount version older than kernel) but it works, i like that.
stating a song takes several seconds. sometimes the show interrupts for
some
seconds.

a tcpdump on the nfs-server while his happens:

consoel output on the ipaq at the same time:
nfs: server transit OK
nfs: server transit not responding, still trying
nfs: server transit not responding, still trying
