I had the same problem and got my "mainboard replaced", it was and still
is a 16MB Flash unit, but now it has one strange feature: it's asset tag
and serial number are 1234567890. Does someone know how to change this?

An other point is the "low" flash. As I will probably never get a 32MB
flash unit from Compaq (afaik the new iPaqs are supposed to come with
64MB ram and still 16MB flash) does someone know who (in europe) would
upgrade the flash to 32MB (and how I'm supposed to get a bootloader into
this flash)

Cu,
    Goetz.
