[iPAQ] iPAQ 3150

Anyone have linux running on any of the 31xx machines? Specifically the
3150?

I've been toying around with the source, trying to hack up support for the
greyscale LCD myself. I've come to the point where I think I need info on
the actual LCD, not just the controller -- stuff like what frame refresh
rate the LCD can support, and whether it wants data for 4 or 8 pixels/clock.

So I have 2 questions:

1) are my efforts redundant? Is some other (probably more experienced)
developer already mostly done with this task, or should I continue plodding
on? If someone else *is* working on it, when will their code be available?

2) does anyone know where I can get info on the LCD panel itself without
shelling out $600 to Compaq to join their CSA program?
