Compression for JFFS isn't really working yet. There's a proof-of-concept
based on a fairly old version of the JFFS code, but the stable code we have
at the moment doesn't do compression. Is this going to be a problem?

Once we have JFFS, we can ditch the initrd, so the root filesystem can
expand to 7MB and should fit. On units with only 16MB of flash, though,
we'll either have to put the /usr filesystem on a severe diet or hurry up
and do the compression code.
