[iPAQ] Problem in Linux installtion on iPAQ3630

Hi all,

I am facing problem in Linux installation on :-

iPAQ 3630 (made January 2001)
P/N 170294-002
SPS 176307-001
MODEL 3630
S/N: 4G11DW3660SX

I am following

Everything goes fine till :-

16. Reboot or power cycle your iPaq H3600: the boot loader should come up.
Don't be scared about the message "Corrupt kernel image", because you don't
have a kernel installed yet. Whew! You are through the risky part of the
procedure.

But in :-

17. At the 'boot>' prompt, type 'load kernel', then start an xmodem download
of the file zImage-2.4.0-test11-rmk1-np3-hh2. When finished with the
download, you will see "Erasing, Writing, Verifying flash" messages. A
kernel tarball corresponding exactly to these kernel bits is available.

i am getting 'boot>' prompt but when i when i type on 'load kernel' i am
getting nothing on hyperterminal sceen ( means i can receive data from
serial port , but i can not write on serial port )

i also tested on minicom but same problem :(

But i face no problem in installation Linux on :-

iPAQ 3650 (made December 2000)
P/N 170294-001
SPS 176307-001
MODEL 3650
S/N: 4G0CDW36J33M

i can not type on 'boot>' prompt :(

but when i reboot , i got all the boot messages again with 'boot>' prompt.
