Mozilla (like most browsers) likes to remember all the URL's you visited,
and therefore is calling a database package (Berkeley DB, if I'm not
mistaken) sort of anytime you do anything.

So you might try putting the directory where it wants to mess around
in ramfs, so it can do its thing...
