RE: [iPAQ] Problem installing Linux on iPaq using Linux PC

I am now a little further than previously described.

Btw - I am using the genuine compaq cable.

I now have established a connection, however I cannot ping it.

I have enabled debugging for pppd and there are no error messages during
connection. However, when I ping the ipaq there is no traffic at all (I'm
not sure whether this would even be present in the debugging).

If I check my route table there is an entry for ppp0 as follows :

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use
Iface
192.168.1.100 * 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ppp0

Has anyone else had this problem ??
